Half a Man
One of my many musical exploits was a stint in Nashville in 1992 working with a Canadian country artist (who had enjoyed Top 10 hits in Canada a decade before) named Jules. It was Jules and his lovely wife, Maggie, who invited me to live with them, a year prior, when I was given only three days notice to vacate my home/studio during my rather nasty divorce. I stayed with this giving couple for half a year and the talented singer and I went to work writing dozens of songs we would eventually take to Nashville to record. One of these tunes was a tongue-in-cheek, and somewhat bluesy little lament about love lost, called Half a Man.

More about our Nashville trip the next I feature another tune we wrote. You might enjoy listening to more of my dear friend’s music at the Jules’ website.
